AUSD is a suburban school district with 25 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 10 and end June 8. The district has said a complete 2026-2027 calendar — including early dismissal dates and report card dates — will be published soon. The calendar sets aside 2 additional days (April 30–May 28) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 3 professional development days — useful to know when planning childcare.
