Bridgeport Public Schools School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

BSD is an urban school district with 36 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 27 and end June 11. The district has said a complete 2026-2027 calendar — including the graduation date and grading period end dates — will be published soon. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Yom Kippur, Three Kings Day, Eid al-Fitr) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 13 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
