Fairfield School District School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

FSD is a suburban school district with 16 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 1 and end June 11. Fairfield Public Schools serves the Town of Fairfield, one of Connecticut's oldest communities, incorporated in 1639. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Yom Kippur, Eid al-Fitr) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 2 professional development days, 10 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
