Norwalk Public Schools School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

NSD is an urban school district with 22 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 26 and end June 17. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Yom Kippur, Eid al-Fitr) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 4 professional development days, 15 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare. The last day of school is tentatively set for June 17, but may move if the district needs to use weather makeup days.

Also known as NSD.
