TSD is a suburban school district with 9 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 27 and end June 11. Trumbull Public Schools' 'We the People' constitutional law team at Trumbull High School is one of the most decorated in the nation, winning Connecticut State Championships from 1988 through 2023 with multiple top-ten national finishes. The calendar sets aside 2 additional days (February 12–June 14) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Diwali, Eid al-Fitr) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 2 professional development days, 16 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
