West Haven School District School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

WH is a suburban school district with 9 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 31 and end June 14. West Haven High School's motto is 'Gardez Bien' (French for 'Guard Well') and its teams are known as the Blue Devils. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Yom Kippur, Eid al-Fitr (no school for students, Professional Day for staff)) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 9 professional development days, 12 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
