SDHC is a suburban school district with 315 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 10 and end May 28. The calendar sets aside 2 additional days (October 12–January 4) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 2 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
