CCSD is a rural school district with 13 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 5 and end May 21. Colquitt County High School won back-to-back Georgia State High School Football Championships in 2014 and 2015 with undefeated 15-0 records, playing at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta both seasons. The district has said a complete 2026-2027 calendar — including early dismissal dates and teacher workdays — will be published soon. This calendar includes 3 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
