Calvert County Public Schools School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

CCPS is a rural school district with 25 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 25 and end May 14. The calendar sets aside 3 additional days (April 23–June 11) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Ramadan (See Religious Observance Note), Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha (See Religious Observance Note)) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 3 professional development days, 12 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.

Also known as CCPS.
