Queen Anne's County Public Schools School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

QACPS is a rural school district with 14 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 24 and end June 9. Queen Anne's County High School, the district's only high school, opened in 1966 and is nicknamed the Lions — the Pride of the Eastern Shore. The calendar sets aside 2 additional days (February 15–April 1) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 6 professional development days, 15 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
