FPS is a local school district with 14 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 24 and end June 4. Fremont Public Schools uses dual mascot branding: the district's own Packers identity (seen in 'Packers Pride' programs) alongside the high school's Tigers, whose cross country teams have claimed 12 state championships. This calendar includes 6 professional development days, 9 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
