East Brunswick Township School District School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

EBTSD is a suburban school district with 11 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 2 and end June 18. East Brunswick High School's mascot is 'Bruiser' the Bear, and the school's motto is 'Excellence With Honor and Integrity,' operating since its opening for the 1958–59 school year. The calendar sets aside 4 additional days (March 29–April 30) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Yom Kippur / Fall Recess, Orthodox Christmas, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 13 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
