PTHTSD is a suburban school district with 14 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 2 and end June 22. The district serves students in ten elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, and an adult education center across Parsippany–Troy Hills in Morris County, New Jersey. The calendar sets aside 2 additional days (January 18–February 15) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Yom Kippur, Eid al-Fitr) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 3 professional development days, 11 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
