Paterson Public School District School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

PDPS is a suburban school district with 44 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 8 and end June 23. The calendar sets aside 4 additional days (June 24–June 29) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Yom Kippur, Eid al-Fitr (Observed)) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 2 professional development days, 14 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.

Also known as PDPS.
