SPF is a suburban school district with 8 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 2 and end June 24. La Grande Elementary School opened in September 2026 as the district's newest school, marking the first time Scotch Plains-Fanwood opened a brand-new building in recent memory. Calendar dates are confirmed for part of the year; the rest of the 2026-2027 calendar isn't available yet — check back soon. This calendar includes 1 professional development day, 4 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
