CCS is a rural school district with 17 schools. Central Consolidated School District covers nearly 3,000 square miles in the Four Corners region and holds long-term no-cost land leases from the Navajo Nation for schools located within the Nation. The district has said a complete 2026-2027 calendar — including teacher workdays — will be published soon. This calendar includes 1 early-release or half day — useful to know when planning childcare.
