LUFSD is a suburban school district with 10 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 1 and end June 25. Levittown Public Schools serves the community that became famous as one of America's first mass-produced suburban developments, built by William Levitt starting in 1947. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Diwali, Lunar New Year, Eid al-Fitr (SUPT CONF DAY), Holy Thursday / Good Friday / Easter Monday, Eid al-Adha) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 2 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
