DCS is a rural school district with 13 schools. The first day of school is August 24. Davie County High School's team name was changed from the Rebels to the War Eagles after the original name became controversial. Calendar dates are confirmed for part of the year; the rest of the 2026-2027 calendar isn't available yet — check back soon. This calendar includes 6 professional development days, 2 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
