HHCLSD is a suburban school district with 9 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 8 and end May 26. The district traces its roots to 1810 when Wayne Township was created, with the initial school district composed of two log schoolhouses on local farms. Huber Heights City Schools runs more than one calendar program (K-12 schools, Studebaker Preschool, and Warrior Academy) -- this page covers the K-12 schools calendar; other programs follow a different schedule. The district has said a complete 2026-2027 calendar — including early dismissal dates and teacher workdays — will be published soon.
