Downingtown Area School District School Calendar 2026-2027

At a Glance

DASD is a suburban school district with 16 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 25 and end June 4. The calendar also notes several religious observances (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Diwali, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha) for awareness — school stays in session on these days. This calendar includes 4 professional development days, 4 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare. Standardized testing windows: Keystone Exams – Winter Wave #1 (December 7–December 18); Keystone Exams – Winter Wave #2 (January 4–January 15); PSSA Testing – ELA Grades 3-8 (April 26–April 30); PSSA Testing – Math & Science Grades 3-8 (May 3–May 7); Keystone Exams – Spring (Algebra I, Biology, Literature) (May 17–May 28).
