NPSD is a suburban school district with 17 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 31 and end June 10. The calendar sets aside 3 additional days (June 11–June 15) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 6 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare. Standardized testing windows: Keystone Exams (Winter) (December 7–December 18); Keystone Exams (Winter continued) (January 4–January 15); Keystone Exams (Spring) (May 17–May 28); PSSA English Language Arts (April 26–April 30); PSSA Math and Science (May 3–May 7); PSSA Make-ups (May 10–May 14).
