SSD is a suburban school district with 14 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 6 and end May 28. This district follows a modified calendar for the 2026-2027 year, which starts and ends on a different schedule than a traditional calendar. The district has said a complete 2026-2027 calendar — including early dismissal dates — will be published soon. This calendar includes 1 early-release or half day — useful to know when planning childcare.
