YSD is a rural school district with 10 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 3 and end May 28. Calendar dates are confirmed for part of the year; the rest of the 2026-2027 calendar isn't available yet — check back soon. The calendar sets aside 3 additional days (October 12–March 26) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 3 professional development days, 11 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
