AISD is a rural school district with 9 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 4 and end May 27. Anna ISD's school colors were originally Blue and Gold until the 1950s, when TCU donated old uniforms to the high school, changing the colors to Purple and White — still used today. The district has said a complete 2026-2027 calendar — including early dismissal dates and teacher workdays — will be published soon.
