CISD is a suburban school district with 18 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 12 and end May 20. The calendar sets aside 2 additional days (February 15–April 23) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 5 professional development days — useful to know when planning childcare.
