NCISD is a suburban school district with 22 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin August 6 and end December 16. New Caney ISD runs more than one calendar program (all schools (excluding Infinity Early College High School) and Infinity Early College High School) -- this page covers the all schools (excluding Infinity Early College High School) calendar; other programs follow a different schedule. The calendar sets aside 2 additional days (January 5–March 15) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 3 professional development days, 3 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
