ESD is a suburban school district with 39 schools. For the 2026-2027 school year, classes begin September 2 and end June 22. The calendar sets aside 4 additional days (June 23–June 28) that may be used as weather makeup days if needed. This calendar includes 6 professional development days, 6 early-release or half days — useful to know when planning childcare.
